Praying Mantis

I always have at least two or three mantids on the go, being raised from a tiny nymph to an old adult mantis.  Sadly they don't live very long and are very expensive to buy. BUT...they are the most stunning creatures with bags of personality. I have learnt the hard way how to care for them, with a lot of mistakes and expert advice along the way. (Warning,they will break your heart...) You have to manage a lot of fruit flies and moths to feed them as well.
I will try to keep the information up to date but please forgive me if it isn't. If one has died of old age I will move the photo over to the photo gallery so you can see what I've had in the past.
