Millipede

I happily handle these with my bare hands and always have with absolutely no ill effects, but I am aware that there are several science articles available discussing the possibility of an 'irritant secretion' coming from the side of the millipede if handled very roughly. I feel it is worth showing the millipedes as they are so fabulous. So just to be on the safe side the children can wear plastic disposable gloves, I will always bring another animal as well!
