Berber Skink
(Eumeces schneideri)

Picture

Introducing Bertie the Berber Skink. He is new to Frazoo so just settling in...
Bertie is already friendly and a bit cheeky. This is his second go in the garden and the second time he has run like greased lightening and I've had to rugby tackle him to the ground. I'll have to make some sort of big movable pen for him...

Fascinating Fact: Berbers can bury themselves very quickly into soil or sand by digging with their sharp claws and wriggling their smooth bodies.
